With the coldness increasing, many families on the edges of Herat don’t have enough heating equipment and shelter. Most of these families are internally displaced people that were displaced from their original location because of poverty and drought. RSDO with the help of its international donors has implemented a lot of humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people till now. Now with the changes in the climate and the coldness of the winter, many families are living in tents or in houses without any windows and doors, which are deprived of the most primary facilities of life. RSDO with the cooperation of its international donors is attempting to distribute the equipment, heating facilities, and food packages to these families at the first possible opportunity.
