The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) declared: “The percentage of Afghans facing severe poverty increased from 47 percent to 97 percent in the last three years”.
Najma is the mother of five kids and is living in a house without doors or windows. “I am spending most of my days without food” says, Najma.
With the coming of the cold season, in addition to food problems, many families have problems with shelter and having a warm place. RSDO in partnership with international donors is always trying to deliver humanitarian services to vulnerable families as soon as possible. Nevertheless, with the coming of the winter season, and the expansion of the poverty border in Afghanistan, there is not enough assistance and there is more necessity for emergency assistance.
