The emergency cash assistance distribution was started by Mr. Mohammad Asef Foulad, the country director of the Help-AFG, and Mr. Mahmood Rahmani, the director of the Razi Social Development Organization (RSDO), in Badghis province.RSDO had already surveyed the most vulnerable HHs in the center of Badghis and six districts in this province; after the completion of the survey process in these areas, the emergency cash assistance distribution started in Moqur district on February 10, 2023. The distribution will be executed in 9 distribution points in Badghis province.
The emergency food assistance, NFI, and winterization support for vulnerable HHs through (and/or in-kind) distribution projects in the western provinces of Afghanistan (Herat, Farah, Ghor, and Badghis) will be implemented by the Help-AFG with the partnership of RSDO.
