In its recent activities, the RSDO, under project AFG 124-22, distributed cash for food, targeting the most vulnerable and deprived individuals in Badghis province. A total of 15,288 individuals received assistance in this latest distribution.
Through collaborative efforts with the Help Germany organization and funding from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ADH organization, RSDO successfully implemented the fifth cycle of humanitarian aid in Badghis province. These initiatives not only underscore our commitment to enhancing living conditions in marginalized areas but also highlight the invaluable support provided by our international partners during challenging circumstances.
The aid packages comprised cash for food packages, benefiting eligible recipients in remote and underserved areas of the below districts until July 2024. Specifically, assistance was extended to various districts within Badghis (Qala-e-Naw, Moqur, Jawand, Qadis, and Abkamari) districts.
The impact of these interventions on the lives of individuals residing in impoverished districts has been significant. Moving forward, RSDO remains dedicated to sustaining these efforts with the backing of international organizations to foster sustainable development and uplift living standards in disadvantaged areas across Afghanistan.
We express our sincere appreciation to all contributors involved in this project. Together, we can effect positive change and improve the well-being of individuals residing in underprivileged communities.
