Razi Social Development Organization (RSDO) and with financial supporting of Help-Germany, successfully implemented a project of emergency assistance for IDPs during three months in Herat province.
RSDO provided assistance and prevention of poverty and hunger for 1400 people, which can be summarized as follows:
1: Preliminary survey of 3,000 displaced families around Herat City.
2: Basic survey and identification of 1400 eligible families to receive food and cash.
3: Awareness of the COVID-19 along with receiving a health package.
4: Beneficiaries received a food parcel. (Rice, Flour, Oil, lentils, Salt and Sugar)
5: Beneficiaries received cash.
The project started on December 1, 2021, and ended on February 28, 2022, with conducting an official ceremony attended by representatives of the Help organization, ANDMA, Department of Economy, and RSDO organization with the distribution of food packages and cash.
