Razi Social Development Organization with the financial supporting of Japan Plat Form (JPF) and partnership of NICCO successfully implemented a project under the title of “Emergency Food Distribution Support for the most vulnerable people” during five and a half months in Herat (Kushk-e-Robat Sangee District) – Afghanistan. RSDO surveyed door-to-door households in April by creating an experienced and trained team with vulnerability indicators and criteria to identify poor families. RSDO provided assistance and prevention of poverty and hunger for 2000 households, which can be summarized as follows:
• RSDO Preliminary surveyed 3,400 families in Kushk-e-Robat Sangee District of Herat province.
• Identification of 2000 eligible families to receive food parcels.
• Beneficiaries received a food parcel of (Wheat Flour, Rice, Vegetable Oil, Sugar, Pulses & Salt).
• Identification of 2000 eligible families to receive food parcels.
• Beneficiaries received a food parcel of (Wheat Flour, Rice, Vegetable Oil, Sugar, Pulses & Salt).
The project started on March 14, 2022, and ended on August 31, 2022, with conducting an official ceremony in which the representatives of ANDMA, DoEC, HPRO and RSDO organizations attended.
