In the fifth round of aid distribution, RSDO, with financial support from the World Food Program (WFP), distributed food to over 3,000 needy families in Koshk Kohna district, Herat province. This distribution, conducted in April, included food packages containing wheat flour, oil, lentils, salt, and WFP’s nutritious food (LNS). These items were prepared and distributed by RSDO after passing WFP’s quality tests.
In previous rounds of the GFD project, RSDO, with WFP’s financial support, also distributed emergency food aid to improve food security for the most vulnerable in 15 urban districts and four districts (Koshk Kohna, Rabat Sangi, Gulran, and Kohsan) in Herat province. RSDO remains committed to this mission with integrity, leveraging its experience and dedicated staff.
