Razi Social Development Organization (RSDO), in accordance with its mission to support vulnerable populations, has initiated the baseline survey of Project AFG138-24. The aim of this survey is to identify the 3,676 most vulnerable households in the western provinces of Afghanistan: Herat, Badghis, Ghor, and Farah, to receive cash-based food assistance and Family Kits.
This activity is part of the second cycle of the project and is supported by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) and the Help organization. So far, RSDO’s field teams have surveyed 2,763 households, mainly located in remote and underserved areas.
The survey, which is scheduled to continue through May 2025, is designed to assess the food needs of families and identify those most eligible for assistance. This effort reflects RSDO’s sustained commitment to poverty alleviation and the promotion of food security and basic well-being through the distribution of Family Kits in regions experiencing acute hardship.
In addition, the project emphasizes the value of international cooperation in responding to humanitarian needs and supporting long-term development in Afghanistan.
RSDO sincerely thanks all partners, donors, and staff members who have supported this important effort. With continued collaboration, the organization remains dedicated to building stronger and more resilient communities in disadvantaged regions
