Razi Social Development Organization (RSDO) has continued its emergency aid efforts to assist the earthquake affected people in Herat province. This time, RSDO distributed essential and life-saving aid packages to 200 families in three remote villages. These packages include 23 critical items including men’s winter jackets, tents, winter coats, blankets, matchboxes, table knives, plates, water drinking glasses, water jugs, spoon ladles, spoons, pressure cookers, lanterns, trash cans, towels, shampoo, soap, shovels, and rubber gloves. In addition to these items, each family received 7,300 Afghanis, equivalent to 100 dollars in cash. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and satisfaction, considering this assistance invaluable and very important. These aid were distributed with the financial support of the Action Against Hunger (AAH/ACF) and the effective implementation of the RSDO organization on November 2, 2023. It’s worth noting that after the earthquakes in Herat, both of these organizations have provided multiple rounds of immediate aid to the affected areas.
