RSDO celebrated the first graduation period of the technical and vocational trainees in Badghis province on December 5, 2022. These trainees were male and female, that were learning tailoring, mobile repairing, and motorbike repairing vocations for six months. This program was conducted to support orphans, the poor, and street kids, and their family members are also included in the six-month project at the end of the project, the trainees received full equipment and working toolkits. The TVET project manager after the first successful implementation of the project said: “Now our graduates can enter the labor market without any special challenge and improve their own business”.
This program was funded by UNICEF, WFP, and HELP international organizations and was implemented by the RSDO organization in this province, Ghor and Farah provinces.
The Badghis residents supported this program very widely, and its implementation is considered to strengthen the economy of families. On the other side, it provides education and training opportunities for the poor and street kids to assure that there is a bright future for orphans and street kids.
