
We are pleased to announce the official launch of a new initiative titled “Provision of Integrated Child Protection Services to the Most Vulnerable Children in Badghis Province,” implemented by Razi Social Development Organization (RSDO) with generous support from UNICEF. This important project aims to provide integrated child protection and livelihood services to vulnerable children and their families across several districts in Badghis, Afghanistan.

Target Locations: Qala Naw City, Moqor, Bala Murghab, and Qades districts in Badghis Province
Project Objectives
The project is designed to enhance child protection systems and reduce the vulnerability of at-risk children and their families by offering a combination of social, psychological, and economic support services. The core objective is to promote integrated protection and livelihoods for the most affected households in Badghis.
Key Activities
1. Capacity Building for CPAN: Delivering financial and technical training sessions to members of the Child Protection Action Network (CPAN) to improve local protection response mechanisms.
2. Income Generation Support: Facilitating income-generating opportunities for 60 vulnerable individuals to help strengthen their household economic resilience.
3. Apprenticeship Programs: Supporting 60 individuals with apprenticeship training, enabling them to develop employable skills and access job markets.
4. Case Management Services: Providing direct support to children in need through a structured case management system, ensuring access to protection, referral, and follow-up services.
5. Establishment of Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS): Creating 4 safe spaces in the target areas where children can access psychosocial support, recreational activities, and informal education in a safe environment.
6. Training on GBV and Mine Risk Education: Conducting community-level awareness sessions and workshops focusing on the prevention of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and mine risk education, ensuring communities are informed and protected.
This initiative marks a significant step toward building safer, more inclusive, and resilient communities in Badghis Province.
